In the early 1990s, we were exploring the possibility of expanding the scope of our business. Thankfully, we didn’t have to look too hard to find a partner that shared our commitment to quality and customer service.
The strong partnership we formed with East Balt Bakeries in 1991 has become our window to a world of opportunities. Like Baldinger, East Balt was a key bakery supplier to McDonald’s Corporation, based in Chicago. Its slogan is “Chase Perfection…Catch Excellence.” Today, through our strategic alliance, we team up to supply McDonald’s with approximately 30% of its buns, to stores across America and around the globe.
This partnership has allowed us to access – and address the formulation challenges of – new international markets. We’ve taken the insights gleaned from these challenges and used them to make our whole product line better! We’re proud to call East Balt our partners and our friends.
